PokemonPallet Evolution Guide
There are two ways to evolve your Pokemon: by Stone and by Level.
We will start with Stone and explain the differences and the impact of one method versus the other on your Pokemon.
Evolution by Stone
You can check which stone your Pokemon needs to evolve using the Pokedex, as shown below.
Or you can use the shortcut Ctrl+D.
And then click on your Pokemon.
In this example, you will have both pieces of information: which stone is required to evolve the Pokemon, or at which level it will evolve without a stone. Here we need a Water Stone and an Ice Stone.
After getting the required stones, right-click one of them and then left-click your Pokemon.
When you use the stones, your Pokemon will evolve and the stones will disappear from your inventory.
This was an example of evolution by stones.
Evolution by Level
You can also use the Pokedex to see at which level a Pokemon will evolve. In this example, at level 80 it becomes Walrein.
However, when you are close to the level shown in the Pokedex, check if your Pokemon is happy, because it must be happy to evolve at the required level. You can check this by clicking the Pokemon with both mouse buttons.
As shown by the "Very Happy" information, it means it is very happy.
If the information shows it is not happy, you can use the !love command. This makes your Pokemon happy again (you may need to use it twice; cooldown is 30 seconds).
After using the command and your Pokemon is happy again, just level up once more and it will evolve automatically.
An evolution effect will appear on the Pokemon.
After the effects, the Pokemon will be in its evolved form.
Note: A difference between these two methods is that evolving by Stone at a low level gives a bit more stats. For example: a Charmander evolving to Charizard at level 5 will become stronger over time than a Charizard that evolved at level 80. That is why we recommend evolving Pokemon by Stone to make them stronger.
